Curriculum by Subject

The North American Division Elementary Fine Arts Standards is to be used as a resource tool for organizing and developing a successful program for visual arts. Note that since these art programs are produced by secular publishers, some lessons may contain information that is contrary to the Adventist Worldview. Teachers must use discretion to edit the information so that it is appropriate for use.

Kindergarten Stepping Stones: A Journey to Excellence through Discovery is an integrated curriculum that utilizes literature-based themes with strong spiritual connections so children may come to know God better and love him more.

Grades K–8

The art curriculum has a choice of two recommended programs: Arts Attack Online and Davis Art: Explorations in Art.

Arts Attack Online

Arts Attack Online is a comprehensive teacher-friendly art program that includes a teacher manual and online interactive lessons with an art teacher. The online program includes 8 new lesson plans for each grade from the 2002 DVD/video series.

We are very proud to feature the work of some exceptionally talented individuals who have honored the Seventh-day Adventist Church with their impeccable artistry.
